Position Overview:
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing team and help build scalable, reliable, and high-performance data infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines that empower analytics, reporting, and product innovation across the organization.
Responsibilities within the team:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes to collect, transform, and deliver high-quality data.

Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and streaming solutions to support analytics and machine learning use cases.

Collaborate with analysts and product teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR).

Monitor and improve data infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Implement best practices for data governance, version control, and documentation.

Stay current with emerging data technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.
Job requirements
Facing the challenges of the role requires:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.

Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms

Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

iGaming industry experience (player tracking, fraud detection, compliance reporting, real-time game data pipelines) will be considered a strong plus, as it provides valuable context for high-volume, real-time transactional data and regulatory requirements.

Exposure to big data ecosystems and streaming analytics.

Experience with modern data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Spark, Kafka).

Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and version control (Git).
